This summer, I went on a tour of the Autodesk Gallery.
While there, I discovered the work of artist Janet Echelman. She is a sculptor and artist who create and installs these amazing temporary pieces in public spaces that respond to wind, water and light. I think they are best seen at night and although I am not familiar with the full breadth of her work, my favorite installation to date is the 1.26 Sculpture Project that was suspended from the roof of the Denver Art Museum.
